I have had clients at the Madrona since they opened five years ago. They have a number of long-term care staff who have consistently cared for my clients with loving and skillful attention. They often let me know about my client's care proactively so that I can work in concert with them and other providers. My interaction with nursing, administration and maintenance has been excellent, especially this past year, as our goal is to work as a team for the betterment of the residents. I feel that I can bring any information forward and have them review, give me their honest opinion, and then make appropriate changes, as need be. The staff work very hard to make changes and accommodations as quickly as possible. If someone you know needs assisted living or memory care, I would recommend contacting them to see if the Madrona House might be a good match.

If you are looking for a warm and comfortable environment for an elderly loved one, this is the place. From the minute you walk in the door to the smiles of the staff at the front desk to the caregivers who treat the residence with love and respect, you will find a very caring environment. Following a stroke my mother became a resident here. The entire staff was very helpful accommodating her new needs and helping her adjust to the many changes in her life, making her transition smooth. Care givers checked on her often in her first weeks, giving the family peace of mind. She looked forward to seeing them every day. Madrona House is not only beautiful, it is warm and inviting not only to its residents but to guests as well. Let’s talk about the food… a culinary trained chief oversees the preparation of three excellent meals a day offering some of the best cuisine, right up there with fine dining restaurants. They also offer holiday dining for family at Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. What I believe separates this facility from others is the care and compassion provided by the caregivers, nurses and other staff members (some you never see). I am in total appreciation of their dedication, and genuine willingness to make sure our loved ones are safe and happy. I believe these caregivers and nurses are Angels watching over our loved ones. At that point she required around the clock care which was more that we could provide in our own home. We were so thankful to find The Madrona House where trained staff is there around the clock 7 days a week. Their kind employees cared for her just like she was their own mom and were mindful of her special food needs. They helped her with all the things that she was no longer able to do for herself. Mom enjoyed getting to know all of the nurses, CNAs, and housekeeping staff who came to her room to check on her, took her for walks in her wheel chair, and brought her to the dining room for meals. The amazing staff made my mom feel special and treated as a person. We couldn't be more satisfied with the excellent care she received at The Madrona House.
