It is OK
reviewed on: 03/07/2016 by AnonymousThere has been recent staff changes. There is a new facility director and a new director of care. Families of the residents were not notified of the changes until a few weeks later. The food is fair. The nursing staff is competent. Cleaning staff is pleasant. Activities have declined over the past year - possibility due to budget cuts. It is not the most happy place for some residents and it shows. The residents age range varies - so does their cognitive level. Most residents have ambulatory issues. Getting in and out of the dining room can be a challenge as a result.

It's been so comforting for Mom, and provides so much peace of mind for us knowing that she is being looked after by such caring and compassionate people. From the moment we first walked in to tour they made us feel welcome, everyone stopped to greet us, and we could see that they all knew all the residents on a personal level. I was also glad to see how understanding and compassionate they were when interacting with their memory care residents. They've done a great job of keeping Mom active and social, and not just letting her stay in bed and withdraw. Really the only complaint I have is that I think their restrooms in the public areas could be cleaned slightly more often.

reviewed on: 07/25/2018 by AnonymousThings are going down hill, corners being cut, short staffing and poor food choices. The phone system has been down for months. Not all residents can use cell phones due to health reasons and family members haven't been able to speak to each other for weeks at a time over too many months. Recent experiences are unacceptable.
