Community Reviews
Care and Compassion
reviewed on: 08/13/2015 by WhitneyMy grandmother lived at Sycamores Terrace for three years. We moved out of state, and never found a facility with with the care and compassion that was present at Sycamores Terrace. It's so difficult to face the reality of a loved one no longer being able to live alone; the staff was so helpful, and really walked us through the process. Forever grateful!
My new home
reviewed on: 09/25/2017 by AnonymousI am happy with my new home. I like knowing that I get good meals. The community takes me on small trips away from the community for shopping and a few places. I like being able to participate in the activities. I would recommend this community to others
Not a hard choice
reviewed on: 09/16/2015 by R. Price NimmoI visited 6 facilities in addition to Sycamores Terrace in looking for a facility for my ward. Sycamores Terrace and one other community moved to the top of the list. The staff was very knowable and helpful. The fact that the owner was on the premises was another factor. Decisions could be made without contacting "corporate." I was encouraged to speak with resident without staff being present. The reports were uniformly good, and there were good reports concerning the food, staff and activities. It was not a hard choice.
Lunch tour
reviewed on: 05/08/2017 by AnonymousHad a lunch tour. The food was fantastic and the residents were delightful. The employees make you feel at home and part of a family. Definitely will bring my grandmother to live at Sycamores Terrace.
Not Somewhere For People Who Wander
reviewed on: 08/08/2017 by AnonymousAs hard as it was I had to move my mom from here to another community because this was not a locked community and my mother got out and had wandered. The community was lovely very clean and neat. The staff was friendly and kind however I don't think they are setup to handle people with dementia that get confused and wander. If my mom hadn't progressed so badly I would have loved to keep her here.
