A place for Mom
reviewed on: 12/27/2013 by Beverly RichardShe loves it there! We love to visit and join her in many of the activities. A really great place!
Everything's Going Well
reviewed on: 11/25/2013 by SonEverything seems to be going very well there at this time. I haven't spent too much time there, but the times that we have talked to the staff they are all very helpful. I get the newsletter, which featured two pictures of my mother. I was concerned that she would feel cooped up inside because she is an outside person, but they organized a hike and there was a picture in the newsletter of my mother looking like her young self again. Everything looks so well maintained, and everyone seems to be living life to the best of their ability.
Feeling relived that Mom is in Evergreen Estates
reviewed on: 01/24/2015 by AnonymousHaving shopped around and then toured Evergreen Estates some 15 months before Mom needed to be in a facility, my sister and I am sure we made the correct choice. We moved her in quickly when the time became necessary. The staff was prepared for her acclimate to here new surroundings. There were a few bumps in the road, however the staff worked very hard to make mom comfortable while at the same time communicating with us through the transition. Mom has made may friends and enjoys the activities that are offered, especially Bingo night. My sister and I couldn't be happier, especially since she is right down the road from us.
I couldn't have found a better place for my loved one
reviewed on: 04/08/2021 by Deborah FI was totally impressed with the place the last couple of weeks when I was able to go inside while my loved one was on Hospice. The staff to the maintenance workers to the laundry people, couldn't have taken better are of her. The food looked very good from what I could see . My loved one was always impressed with how much food they were bringing her, and how nice everybody was to her. They would bring by activities to her room to try and involve her, although she chose not to participate. To me, it seemed like they offered more useful activities - for instance building birdhouses, etc. - instead of just busywork. I witnessed a meeting they held where they asked for resident input on the types of foods they'd like to see and what they would like to see going on, so the residents could be involved in how they handled things. I was really impressed with them.
