The Sparkling Sterling Inn
reviewed on: 02/11/2016 by Brother Gabriel Monarch, O.H.Many years ago I brought Communion to many of the residents here at Sterling Inn, not ever realizing that I would someday be a resident myself. I hope the people I mention get recognition for the excellent way in which they conduct themselves. First there is ROBIN SMITH who made the move in process so simple and easy (although there is all that paper work needed to be done). Second there is DON, Executive Director who is not afraid to get in there and help. Talk about hands on...that's Don! Third there is GIO and LARRY in maintenance that are so willing to help you in your concerns, no matter how small. THREE CHEERS GUYS!!! Fourth there are the AIDES who are so COMPASSIONATE to these older folks, especially MITCH who is like a son to many of these folks. Fifth there is JOSHUA and his sister ERIN in food handling...so gentle to our elderly who begs for being treated like a human being. Thanks CHEF PAUL for your good food. Now we can't forget the WELCOMING FRONT DESK...KIM thanks for your patience, and all your HELPERS. I salute all of you!!!
Sterling Inn-a reliable place for Seniors to reside
reviewed on: 11/14/2020 by Gary R.BushSterling Inn provides the upmost clean & peaceful place for our Seniors to reside and receive professional, compassionate care. My Dad resided in the nursing care section of the Inn. Under the leadership of Shari Cooper who serves as the Director of Resident Services, the nursing staff provided excellent services to include timely and accurate administration of prescribed medications. The staff was also great in keeping family members apprised of the medical status of my Dad. Thank you Shari and staff !!
Love this place!!
reviewed on: 04/04/2017 by HeidiI must say that I think this is the best place in the high desert. We moved my parents in because my mom just couldn't take care of my dad anymore. They gave top notch service. Very caring and accommodating staff. Management goes above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for a better place for them.
The staff and food are both very good
reviewed on: 12/13/2017 by AnonymousThings are going good here and my parents are settling in well. The facility has a few different activities the residents can participate in like bingo, cards, and dominoes. The food is good and I personally like it better than another place they were at. They can get as little or as much of it as they want. The building is kept pretty clean and housekeeping comes by once a week to clean their bedding and towels. The staff has been very friendly and I haven’t had any problems with them. They even have a 24 hour nurse. Overall, I would recommend them to others.
Senior Luxury Lodging
reviewed on: 03/25/2021 by Just ChuckIt is like living at country club. The dining room here is just like a country club I used to belong to. The library is beautiful and well stocked. There is a billiards room, and other rooms available for activities. It is a beautiful place. The rent just rent up recently. I feel the rent is very, very high. I understand why the rent is the way it is. The excuse is a little weak, especially this year. The community is blaming the rent increase on the pandemic. They are also blaming it on staff lodging and transportation. I feel this is grossly exaggerated. I would change the price of rent for the community if I could.
