A happy place
reviewed on: 12/22/2017 by AnonymousWonderful! The building is fine, clean with lots of activities. The CARE is the best that I've seen! Employees are happy and actually enjoy their jobs. I've seen the cooks and the care staff happily dancing in the dining room. A positive place for mom and dad.
Working Out Well
reviewed on: 11/01/2013 by Daughter-in-LawThe care is good. There's actually not like a family meeting room if you want to have like a birthday party or holiday get together there is not really a room for that. It would be nice if they had that. We chose them because we heard good things about them. Some of my in-law's neighbors moved in there and like it. I was impressed with how everything looked. It was very homey and they had decorations for the holidays. The staff was very nice. My in-law's are doing well there.
Took time for me!
reviewed on: 09/27/2018 by MyeI toured this facility, and although they were full and I couldn't move mom in, we were so impressed with the information given when we toured. Even though we showed up unannounced and they were full, they took the time to show us around and spent about an hour answering all of our questions. They were so kind. The building I toured was clean and it smelled good (that is a huge deal for us!) Overall I was quite impressed and I wish I could move mom in.
Caring and conscientious
reviewed on: 07/23/2020 by AnonymousMountain Terrace was outstanding. My mom was only there for two months. The staff was wonderful. The staff knew our name and returned phone calls. They were great. They could have done a better job with the low sodium diet. The room sizes and layout of the community were excellent. The A Place For Mom advisor was wonderful and so helpful, especially with me being out of state.
Things could have gone better!!
reviewed on: 08/24/2017 by AnonymousMy husband was recently at this community for a short respite stay and I have to say I was not that pleased with how things had went. He was left in his room for the majority of the time with no interaction. I wish the staff would have encouraged him to get involved in some of the activities or enjoy the dinning room experience.
