Kilarney Kourt is a really good option for a senior.

Food preparation is good but, of course, the meals are sometimes not the resident's choice or might be something they personally don't like. So, it would be nice to have an alternative such as a chicken breast sandwich. The store on site is run by the residents and is really nice as are the chair yoga classes. Activities are abut par with other facilities.

I would like to see them be a little more proactive with communication and paperwork, especially when it comes to the visiting doctor. But other than that, we are happy with them.

They are very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of your questions. I had a great tour from the manager Ashley, she is as nice as they come. I met with the nurse Carrie to ask questions about the assistance program, seems very attentive and well educated. I also witnessed them interact with the people who already live there and they were wonderful. It was very busy when I was there, many residents out and about. I think this place has great bones, but needs some TLC. Could use a good cleaning and some general repairs and paint. The dining room was kind of dark, and the carpets throughout need replacing or cleaning, and the garage was in need of a good cleaning as well. The grounds are smaller but well kept, it is across from many apartment buildings which I didn't like. Overall I think Killarney Kourt is a good choice, but if you are looking for upscale furnishings and all the frills of a gleaming new facility you may be dissapointed.
