Wellington Place
reviewed on: 10/26/2017 by AnonymousMy husband feels very comfortable in Wellington Place. The staff is very caring, and the residents are so nice, they also have a lot of group activities, games, and live entertainment to keep the residents engaged and social. The place is a little older of a complex, a little well-used, so it could be cleaner, but overall, they do keep it well-maintained and tidy. I’d recommend it to others.
Wellington Place is a lovely place.
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by paula albrightOur Dad needed care that my Mom could not provide, but she did not quite see it that way. After touring some of the fancy senior living places in town, Mom chose Wellington because it had a homey feel. The group dining room is brightly lit with huge windows and an indoor garden. There is a library with games and books which makes a nice place for family to gather. The front of the building has a garden with a path and a seating area overlooking the Plover River. Residents would congregate there on nice days. While the facilities are nice, the staff are angels from heaven. My brothers and I visited a lot and could see them in action. Always smiles and patient, kind words. They were so respectful to their residents and warmly greeted and visited with them. They even knew our names and helped us navigate aging parents. Our folks died in 2019, 8 months apart. Their kindness and compassion is something we will never forget.
Our experience
reviewed on: 05/17/2021 by anonymousThe care services were not good, but the staff members were very friendly. The meals were very good, but when it came to the activities it was fine for the women but not for the men. The value was not good for the cost and our loved one was only there for three weeks. There was also a big smell of urine in the hallways
