Dad is very happy there
reviewed on: 11/18/2014 by AnonymousDad is now staying at The Hampton & Ashley Inn after staying with me and me taking direct care of him for years. I don't know that they are as meticulous in caring for every detail as I was, but they do a good job. Dad is very happy there. Every time I go there he is involved in the activities and having a good time. The food is really good as well. The director is terrific!
Great Respite Stay
reviewed on: 06/14/2016 by AnonymousMy father in law was here for a respite stay. We were very pleased with all they did for us. Everything went very well, they took good care of him and his needs. It is a nice looking facility, they do a good job with the cleanliness. The staff was great. We knew he was safe and in good hands. I would recommend this community.
A great place for Mom
reviewed on: 12/31/2016 by Sue DoucetteThe assisted living portion (Ashley Inn) was a perfect fit for my mother when it became clear that she could no longer live alone or drive. It gave her a lovely place to read her novels and receive friends and family. Being a very private and independent person, I wasn't sure how she would do in an assisted living environment, but thanks to the warm and caring staff ( who only "assisted as needed"), she absolutely thrived! Her Alzheimer's has now progressed to the point that for her safety and increasing care needs, she needed to move downstairs to the Hampton Memory Care Facility. Through all of this I have been so impressed with the staff and administration! They were amazingly patient, reassuring and responsive as she went through a phase of confusion, agitation and delusions. Thankfully this was relatively short-lived. I have never regretted the decision to entrust my mother's care and well-being to the Ashley/Hampton Community and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others seeking high quality care for their loved one.
Not Impressed
reviewed on: 11/15/2016 by AnonymousWhen I went in to tour, it was a nice place. When I first contacted them from my list, I was told I would get information in the mail, I did not get it. After calling them they did not deal with what I needed. I kind of got the run around for a while. I did not like the feeling and I felt uncomfortable with the tour. I did not feel the warmth from the community.
Appreciate for excellent care.
reviewed on: 09/19/2017 by TiltRather than a specific experience, I am writing to rave about the staff at this facility. I visit a number of times a week and I find interaction between caretaker, nurse and patient to be consistently kind, patient, gentle and caring. When I walk out the door, I know my husband will be cared for and treated well. I am grateful. In particular, I would like to rave about Tammy, Keeley, Sherry, Linda and Mona not only for doing their job but going far beyond what they "have" to do. When Tammy is at work, the entire atmosphere of the floor is happier. I know that both Tammy and Keeley care for each and every resident as if they were their own family. The Director of Nursing, Amber, is always available to listen and offer advice. She is an outstanding example of how to treat others the way you would like to be treated. I'm grateful!
