Caring Support at The Hampton
reviewed on: 01/10/2017 by JoleenOur loved one felt at home immediately at The Hampton. She told me many times how wonderful the entire staff was to her. They made her feel special and took the extra time to address all of her needs and concerns. All the staff are really terrific in their dealings with the residents. They always take the time to speak to each person in a very positive way. I was particularly pleased that they make sure everyone is involved in their activities rather than staying closed up in their rooms. I would recommend The Hampton to anyone with memory care needs.
Grateful to have found the Hampton/Ashley Inn
reviewed on: 01/01/2017 by IleneI needed to find memory care for my husband in a hurry. At that time, there were not many openings in the Vancouver area. The Director and the Director of Nursing at the Hampton gave up personal time in order to find a room for him and have him admitted. They not only came to his rescue, but to mine as well. The care he received at the Hampton Inn was superior. Every effort was made to see he settled in and was comfortable and safe. He spent a short time at the Hampton and as soon as appropriate, was moved upstairs to the Ashley Inn. The care continues to be excellent. The caregivers and the nurses are attentive, caring and treat everyone with respect and warmth. The atmosphere is homelike; everything is clean and cheerful. I am very thankful to everyone who gives so much at the Hampton and Ashley Inn.
Director was great. Music every day ...
reviewed on: 12/22/2012 by A Place For Mom CustomerDirector was great. Music every day - singalong. Roommates, and her roomie would have a dog visitor. No cats, yes, some men. People seemed a little lower-functioning than Mom is today. Place seemed a little too back (68 people). Great courtyard. Good energy, lots of care.
The Hampton is a great place
reviewed on: 09/11/2017 by G. EverettThe hardest thing we ever had to do was putting our loved one in memory care. From our first drop in visit to the actual move in, we were met with understanding and professionalism. They were so helpful and willing to work with us. My Dad tells me he loves it at the Hampton. He enjoys the live music and several of the activities they offer. He also tells me the food is delicious. I have been impressed by the number of caregivers they have. Dad has been there since January and he still has the same caregivers.
Nice place
reviewed on: 02/28/2014 by T BThis is a nice community, and our loved one seems happy here! It's always very clean, and the staff have all been friendly and professional. We haven't heard any complaints about the food (and knowing how picky my loved one can be that's a good sign!) All that being said, we do feel like they talked things up a bit too much during the sales process. It is a nice place, but after everything they said it wasn't quite what they promised.
