My review of Blue Ridge Senior Living of Richmond

reviewed on: 06/03/2021 by anonymous

Our experience has been pretty limited still because of the covid but we would recommend the community to others. We have spoken with one the aids on our loved ones floor and that communication has been good, but the communication regarding day to day updates could be a little better

Review of Symphony Manor

reviewed on: 04/02/2019 by Nancy

I really believe some things are really good but some things could be better. Most employees are very good and some could improve. Most times the food is good. Some times the food could be improved - such as presentation, the combining and cooking. I really love the 3 head people and they are very approachable.

We toured this community and the tour was very good. They answered all of our questions and were very informative. They were very accommodating and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, the community was just not in our price range

A God-Send For My Mother

reviewed on: 11/09/2015 by Fowlerfolks

My mother came to Symphony Manor several months ago as we could no longer afford the facility where she had been living. I had low expectations regarding the care she would receive as the monthly expense was significantly less. However, I have been very impressed and so thankful to all the staff at Symphony. Mom is in the memory care area and is receiving very good care and I believe is well looked after there. I have given this facility a "good" rating as they do a very good job. The only "fair" rating I have given is for activities but that's only because I understand there are limited activities you can do with memory impaired residents; although it would be nice to see the residents involved in more basic activities. I hope Mom can continue to live at Symphony and be cared for by such a capable staff. I am very grateful to them all.
