Macomber/Hayes family
reviewed on: 03/23/2015 by Tina L HayesWe have really liked having my father at CAL Sweet Memories unit, he has dementia and throat cancer and having a rough time. The med techs and staff have been wonderful with taking care of him, some ladies more than others that have dealt with cancer and know how to handle my very stubborn father! They are very caring and very knowledgable of the care needed for their residents! They are also very reasonably priced!
Very happy with Commonwealth Assisted Living.
reviewed on: 11/12/2016 by Christa MagerI am very happy with the care the employees show for every resident. This is the second Assisted Living Facility my Father has been to and here they get him out of his room to participate in the activities. He is definitely happier here. The nurses are always very happy and make a point of making us feel welcome. His room is always neat and because they are aware of his problem with falling they check on him more often, He loves the food and the attention he gets!
Our Tour Experience
reviewed on: 11/16/2021 by anonymousOur tour at Commonwealth Senior Living of Hampton was really good. The folks we talked to were very helpful and knowledgeable. They gave off a more friendly, laid back, fun vibe than another place we looked at.
good for the most part
reviewed on: 06/01/2015 by AnonymousMost of what I have seen about Commonwealth Assisted Living at Hampton has been good, but there is some area for improvement. I really like the facility. It is very nice, warm, welcoming, and well kept. The food sometimes is not as warm as it should be when it comes out. The rooms are well kept for the most part. They can be a little slow answering the buzzer when I come to visit. Sometimes I can be standing outside waiting for twenty minutes or more. Most of the staff is very good, but then there are others that need to step up their game.
My loved one is thriving
reviewed on: 05/08/2019 by CRProviding top-notch care along with consistent and engaging activities seems to be difficult for many memory care facilities. CSL-Hampton so far is one of the best that I have seen. The senior staff has taken time to listen to my concerns, and, more importantly, has worked toward instituting positive improvements. The patience and kindness among most of the front-line caregivers is great, a testament to their training and professionalism. 4.5 stars... my loved one is really thriving here!
