I took a tour and thought that the community was nice. The staff was good at showing us everything and answering all questions. I was impressed with the community. My loved one would have went here, but they had no open spaces.

The place is adequate...

My friend is doing well since his move into the Cashe Valley Assisted Living. The staff is all friendly and the place is kept clean. I have been there during meal time, and the food is served in an adequate amount. I would recommend this place to anyone looking.

How many aides to residents is what counts

reviewed on: 10/24/2017 by Anonymous

This is a lovely, homey facility. The majority of the staff are wonderful and caring. The problem is there are not enough of them. Residents can wait 1 - 2 hours at times for an aide once they push their call buttons. Go at meal times and watch how long the residents who need help back to their rooms have to wait for someone to come get them and take them back...it can be 1 1/2 hours! Residents keep filling up rooms, but aides are not increased to help handle the extra load. Most residents are very high assistance, (in walkers, wheelchairs, etc and need help). There is also a very high turnover of aides, it doesn't help that it is the lowest paying facility in the valley. Owners care more about their bottom line then residents well being. When extra short on aides, (someone doesn't show up for their shift) , there are a high incident of falls.
