reviewed on: 05/26/2021 by anonymousWe chose Colonial Oaks at Vista because of the value for the money. The staff here were very good with communication with everything that was going on. It was a good experience while she was here and I would recommend them to others who are looking.
Memory care is a much better place for dad
reviewed on: 09/18/2013 by LindaIt started off a little difficult because he wasn't used to his surroundings and so we went from regular care into memory care instead because he was walking the hallways and couldn't settle down. Putting him into memory care put him into a much smaller environment and he's eating very well. With him being in memory care he understands when he's asked to do something and he does participate in the games they have and he's won some prizes. The staff is very, very friendly and English is his primary language but it's nice when some of the girls speak to him in Spanish. Through the process of elimination, the Pasadena location seemed to be the best and it was more centrally located. I even recommended it to a lady on my return flight from Washingotn, her mother is in Sugarland which is pretty expensive, and she was kinda thrilled that I knew a of a good place.
A safe place, and they have good memory care.
reviewed on: 05/27/2021 by FLIt's a safe place, and they take care of my loved one. The staff do a good job, and my loved one is a handful in memory care. They chase her down and keep up with her. She hasn't been injured or anything like that. So they've done a good job. The rooms are clean. There's no odors or smells in the whole building. They change the linens and keep everything nice. They have activities, I'm not sure of the specifics, but I know they get her out of her room. I'm sure they could do more, but they do pretty good.
