Wonderful staff and facility
reviewed on: 12/21/2017 by AnonymousMy family has been very pleased with this facility and the care they’ve provided for my Mom. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and available when you need them. They offer a lot for a very reasonable price and it is overall a really good value. The facility offers a lot of different activities for the residents and there seems to be several things going on at once. There’s always something for someone to do. They have entertainment programs, school children will come by to sing for the residents, there are exercise classes, and they’ll even take them to concerts (like the orchestra). They have special events for the holidays as well as arts and crafts. There’s really quite a variety. My Mom always says good things about the food and, from what I’ve tried, it tastes okay. There are a lot of options to choose from so it isn’t the same thing every day. This has been a very nice facility and we’re pleased.
I would recommend
reviewed on: 01/04/2021 by anonymousWe chose this facility at the time because I took lots of pictures and I showed my dad and he liked this one the best. It also has shorter hallways to the main areas so he could move around more. Overall, I would recommend to others and already have.

At home In Irving
reviewed on: 01/02/2014 by Barb TsirigotisI was directed to Emeritus by A Place for Mom when I was searching for a place for an elder friend who had no family. Everyone was very helpful, understanding and patient - taking the time to listen to all my concerns about my friend. Within a week we had secured a suite for him at Emeritus. He seems to have adjusted well. I know he is eating better now. It was important to him to remain in the Irving area and he appears to be very happy in his new home. Emeritus has made his transition so easy and affordable.
