Community Reviews
Love, love, love this community!
reviewed on: 04/18/2014 by MurphyMagicLove, love, love this community! I moved my mom in about a mouth ago and could not be happier with the care she is receiving. The day I toured the caregivers were in the middle of dementia training on redirection and de-escalation techniques, I was very happy to see staff and management really focused on using things other then medication to help manage some of the behaviors that go along with dementia. Beth the director was amazing the knowledge and advice she gave me in the beginning along with the continued support from all the staff has been amazing! Mom is not only participating in activities but she loves the food, care staff and has made some friends. It is such a relief when I visit everyday to see her happy and well taken care of. Ceri the nurse always has her door open and provides me updates on any changes in my mom's medications and overall wellness, she even took the time to email me in the beginning when I was having a hard time with the transition of not having mom at home anymore. Overall I would say this place was a God send.
Great place that gained my trust early on!

Beautiful and warm home with experienced staff and a great plans for the future!
reviewed on: 05/16/2014 by Jatana Neff-GalantI have volunteered several times at Aria and I love the facility as well as the staff. Whenever a facility opens it takes time to get full and once more residents move in there will be a lot more activities and offerings. Funding is a challenge until that point. I know they have lots of offerings planned, i.e., music therapy, vegetable garden, etc., but in the mean time I found the staff very caring and competent, the facility beautiful and spotless, and I love that residents have a great outdoor space that makes it feel like home. There is a very comfortable, at home feeling here and as more residents move in, I know they'll be offering special activities and music therapy! Go visit and you'll see what I mean. I would not be giving of my free time to a place that I didn't believe in.
New, pleasant, 24/7 care for those with memory issues
reviewed on: 01/26/2014 by Jane, NCLess than a year old, with a pleasant, spacious, ground-floor design, Aria provides care for seniors with moderate to severe memory issues. The name is from their use of music therapy. The staff is expert and very involved and caring with each individual; occasionally they are spread thin, but less so than at most places I've seen. Activities are still being expanded in scope, but are done very inventively, and with a high level of participation - exercises, games, crafts, discussions, music, outdoors, visiting dogs & children & entertainers. Food is good (especially the amazingly scruptious sugar-free ice-cream protein shakes and the fairly frequent cookies hot-from-the-oven as an afternoon snack), and it is tuned thoughtfully to the needs & preferences of the residents. About 15 residents now, capacity would be around 30, in large single or double rooms with a U design around an outdoor patio & garden.
Wonderful Memory Care Home
reviewed on: 08/26/2018 by Kris HeyI took care of my 87 year mother, who has been diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia with Parkinson's, until I couldn't take care of her anymore. Harmony Point Memory Care has been a godsend and has made a difference in my mother's life, and in mine, as well. My mother just celebrated being here a year, last week. She is night and day so much better, comfortable, and happier from last year to now. They take care of my mom 100 times better at Harmony Point Memory Care than the lack of care I witnessed her not getting at regular skilled nursing facilities, for which she was in a year prior, and, at the time before she transferred over to here. At Harmony Point Memory Care, the staff and caregivers give my mother such loving and skilled round the clock care. The environment is very clean. The layout feels like you are in a house. They all just love my mom, and they all love me. It feels like a home and family here. It is the first place I have ever felt totally comfortable with my mom being in someone else's care. I don't have to worry at all. That says a lot. Thank you, Harmony Point Memory Care, for taking the load off of me and giving my mom such wonderful loving care each and every day and night, and, for the love and care you give me as her family member, as well. You guys are the best, and I love you all! I highly recommend you to others in need of top notch care.
