reviewed on: 04/15/2013 by A Place For Mom CustomerVisited with Marsha on Saturday, April 13, at 10 am. Nice, quiet facility. Residents were enjoying a morning exercise class and all seemed friendly and welcoming. Marsha and Melanie anticipated many of my questions and then gave me a tour. I especially liked the enclosed courtyard with the bird baths and bird feeders. Rooms were the largest I have seen for the price. Marsha also showed me their memory care unit. Many things to like about this place and I think mom might feel most comfortable here since it is a smaller facility.
A Great Place to Send Your Loved One
reviewed on: 05/26/2021 by Sheila OIt is a great place, the folks are nice. I spoke to the staff and they gave us a video tour before moving my loved one in. They were having an early New Year’s Eve party. The community was helpful in getting my loved one acquainted with the community. They allow us to drop items off at The community wants to know the family to associate with them better.
This facility has more of a family atmosphere than the other places.
reviewed on: 06/18/2015 by AnonymousMy mom has been there for about a month. Overall, I have been very pleased. I am especially pleased with the friendliness of the staff. The are very caring. This facility has more of a family atmosphere than the other places. The activities director does a good job at getting the residents engaged. Everyone is not sitting or standing in the hallway. That has helped my mom to adjust quickly. I would recommend this place.
Review of The Pointe
reviewed on: 10/19/2018 by AnonymousI would love to give 5 stars, but no place is perfect. I would suggest you have three workers in memory care plus the activities director. These folks like to get up when they think they don't need help - they forget. Better pay to keep good care givers - more training to staff about Alzheimer's/dementia, better communication between all in community. Don't leave out the folks in memory care when activities are happening - Yes they can be a challenge but they need this also!
We have no complaints
reviewed on: 06/15/2017 by AnonymousWe are happy with this community. Since my father in law has moved in he has become more active and is walking better. The director is involved in the daily activity of the community. The activities director is a great person and has a passion for what they are doing. They are great at getting all of the residents up and moving throughout the day. This is a smaller community all on one floor and it is very nice. The food is good and there is a good variety of choices. This is a good fit and I would recommend this community.
