Community Reviews
Impressive architecture but could use some improvements.
reviewed on: 03/03/2017 by AnonymousNo one greeted us when we moved in.They weren't even expecting us to move in.She's supposed to wear a watch but they don't check if She loves the food there. They emphasis they have a lot of activities but It's a very large place and it is difficult for resident sin certain sections to walk to activities in other sections.I asked Pam, the activities director to encourage my mother to get more involved and she has. When you walk in it is very Posh. The central lobby has a impressive double staircase. They have antique furniture everywhere. The assisted living is separated from the nicer part of the community. We didn't realize this while we were doing the tour. You kinda of do the tour and don't know where you're going.
We like it

Very nice place
reviewed on: 07/21/2015 by AnonymousWe used this facility briefly for respite care for a loved one. Kirby Pines is a very nice, upscale community, and my loved one really enjoyed it. However, it was just too expensive to be a permanent option.
A Wonderful Place that Gives & Understands
reviewed on: 07/08/2016 by Glenn HearnEach member of my family would like to thank you for your support of our mom as we deal with her desease and help her cope. It is very difficult to control her actions and speech, but you at Kirby Pines have provided an environment for her to enjoy and meet friends as well as provide activities that helps keep her active which is what she wants. Again we thank you and support what you do.

reviewed on: 01/17/2017 by GreenI moved into this community and I have found that the staff is not taking care of some of the needs that we have requested. We have not moved in totally just yet. They have not fixed the restroom. They are not getting some of the items requested. The food needs improvements. They are not served enough and they are not given choices of meals. We are not going to move into this community after all. We would not recommend others to this community for the care or the value.
