What a Relief That We Found Renaissance Terrace

reviewed on: 03/25/2021 by Jeff

What I like about Renaissance Terrace is it's relatively small, so the residents get a lot of individualized attention. It's also a non-profit, so they're driven by their mission statement as opposed to a profit margin. So I think that makes it very different from privately owned, for-profit assisted living facilities. The staff are really excellent, including the director. I really like her a lot. They're all great - they're always very friendly, helpful, and accessible. There's a very active and engaged activities schedule, and a really wonderful activities director. She's been with Renaissance for a very long time, and she' been very committed to making sure there are internal activities going on until it's safe to venture out more into the world.

Smaller, Older Community

My tour of this community was a nice one overall. The community was smaller, and older than I would like. My mother has some mobile restrictions, and I do not feel this community were able to accommodate those restrictions.
