reviewed on: 05/06/2015 by AnonymousEmeritus at Countryside Village is a great community. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate their residents. My Mom is a resident and she is really enjoying the food and the well organized dining room staff. There is a variety and lots of food available. They do have call buttons in the rooms for safety and security. Mom states they are very attentive to individual needs. She had a problem with some plumbing and maintenance was there to remedy the situation. Mom does miss being able to cook and clean on her own.

reviewed on: 09/29/2020 by AnonymousPre COVID they had daily activities the residents could participate in. The activities director was wonderful and always encouraged our loved one to get engaged. Her communication with us was excellent. The food they serve is okay and the rooms in the assisted living are fine. You can bring your own furniture and make it as cozy and homey as you would like. The rooms for the skilled nursing are fine as well. The administrative director was wonderful, we can not say enough good things about her. She followed up with us constantly and she knew us by name. During COVID i would bring little goodie bags for our loved one and she would make sure he got them. Even if we couldn't stop by and drop off candy for him, she would go out of her way to bring him candy herself.

They offered a great activity program and had a menu with lots of different meal choices for the residents.

The problem is that in many cases of older people it is difficult for them to get to the dining room and activities. I would not recommend this facility. My overall rating of the Emeritus at Countryside Village is 3 stars. I rate the cleanliness 4 stars. I rate the friendliness 4 stars. I rate the value 4 stars. I rate the care services 4 stars. I rate the activities 3 stars.
