Just like family
reviewed on: 12/06/2016 by AnonymousThe Welsh Mountain Home is like a real home and not an institution, staff and residents are truly like family. Everyone is caring and friendly and the food is homemade and delicious. It's not new and fancy, but the homey, quaint atmosphere is what makes it feel more like "home" and less like a hotel.
A Quality Home
reviewed on: 09/08/2021 by anonymousOverall we're happy with them. Activities are announced over the loudspeaker, which is great for hearing residents. But that would be resident-specific if that's a positive or a negative. The staff seems pretty friendly. I like the facility overall. It's an older type of facility, without fancy decorations, but it 's clean and quality, which is perfectly fine for our family.
Would not recommend
reviewed on: 01/30/2014 by Loved oneWe toured this location when we were looking into options for our loved one. We really were not impressed, it was just awful. It didn't look clean, and was generally just dark and dreary. It looked like all of the residents were just parked sitting around in wheelchairs sleeping or drooling all day, there was no activity at all from what we saw.
