Logan - Highly Recommend
reviewed on: 06/27/2017 by AtbeattyI moved my mother into Logan in November of 2015. She had the best care and the staff were more than employees, they become family. We were blessed to have found Logan for her when we did. I lived 300 miles away but knew that she was in great hands. The daily activities and meal selection are outstanding. The management team is 5 star plus lead by a fabulous director. My mother passed away a few weeks ago but I would select Logan again if I had a the chance. Highly recommend.
Positive Experience
reviewed on: 02/23/2016 by AnonymousMy step mother is doing very well at Logan Place we are very pleased with our choice to move her here. Everything has been a positive experience for us to far and she seems to enjoy to community. She has par taken in the activities they have there and she has been able to make new friends as well. Over all everything is and the staff is friendly and helpful to my step mother.
Nice Place. Just understaffed
reviewed on: 07/22/2015 by AnonymousIt is a nice place. The accommodations are very nice. The staff seems good, though I think they are understaffed. Prior to my dad going there we had a caretaker come in and take care of him but we see him now and we are paying more money and he's not clean, not shaven, and he looks disheveled. He is healthy, but he needs help with his hygiene and getting dressed, but when we go to see him we are disappointed.
I recommend this lovely home.
reviewed on: 02/20/2018 by AnonymousOur mother was cared for at Logan Place for a little over a year before she passed. The staff cared for her and took great care of her. They always made rounds to make sure every resident was available for meals and activities. If a resident can't or won't make it for meals, the staff will bring them something to eat in their room. I checked in with the staff on what she was doing when family wasn't there and they were very honest on what was happening. It gave me the opportunity to talk to her and call them to give instructions when she refused to eat. Elder care is not easy, they can be defiant at times, but the staff handle it well. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone looking for a smaller, caring environment.
Logan place is a good place for mom. I feel comfortable with her there.
reviewed on: 05/18/2021 by anonymousThey're pretty helpful for the most part, and they keep in touch with you. I have nothing bad to say about them, except perhaps that they let my loved one pull the wool over their eyes sometimes. She keeps getting them to put her in an ambulance and take her the hospital. She has a medical condition where sometimes she just doesn't feel well, and she doesn't understand that. But then again, I'd rather they be cautious if something truly life threatening were to be going on with her. The staff are friendly and seem to be knowledgeable. They tend to keep things clean, but sometimes they don't take her laundry to be done as quickly as I would like. But overall I would definitely recommend them to others.
