Community Reviews
pleasant
reviewed on: 08/09/2021 by Corinne PetrinaWas at Rebecca for one week for physical therapy and occupational therapy. The therapy folks were wonderful. The stay was pleasant, with the nurses giving me my medications periodically and on time. Everyone was pleasant but especially the nurse I had at night. I do not recall her name, but she was exceptional. One of the best nurses I have ever encountered.
Don’t go there.
reviewed on: 08/30/2018 by AnonymousAlthough this facility looks like the Taj Mahal, the care staff are not even adequate to meet the needs of the residents. I encountered two staff members, both aides that were wonderful. One of them was leaving the facility in two days for another job. I was not surprised at all! One or two RNs were helpful, as were a couple LPNs. As long as you are demented or mentally impaired, then I guess the place is OK for you. But if you are lucid, don’t go there! The rehab department is really wonderful! The rest leaves a lot to be desired. At night, there was no snacks, and the food, well, again if you are mentally oriented, and Care about what you’re eating, don’t go there! Their jelly packets are macerated spoiled, horribly. I’m sure they’re many years old! But they have hundreds, so I’m sure they won’t get more. If you want juice, you don’t get juice. You get some kind of a unusual tasting fluid they mix with water. These complaints, I hope to make a difference for another person, to not go there, go somewhere else! I never got an evaluation to fill out, I wonder why!
Food is uneatable.
reviewed on: 06/22/2019 by AnonymousDon't send loved ones here. My husband and I visit resident frequently to deliver quality food. This place serves only frozen and canned food. Meals look very unappealing. No fresh fruit or veggies. Very sad. Farm to table fresh fruits and vegetables are available in this area. Too bad management doesn't feel these residents deserve better. I'll bet management eats better than these residents.
Don’t waste your money on this place!
reviewed on: 08/20/2020 by AnonymousPLEASE don't send your loved one here! My mother went here after her hip replacement surgery and the treatment was horrific. The first night she was there she called me crying saying that an aide had grabbed her legs and swung then really fast over the bed to get her up to go to the bathroom. This is the day after her surgery! This aide knew what she was there for and could have dislocated her new hip by doing that! It sent my mother into tears. She also went 3 days without paper towels in her bathroom so she had to use her bed gown as a hand towel because she was told that there weren't any towels available for her...for three days. She is also a severe asthmatic and I was told that the doctor there had to order her medications and that we were not allowed to bring any in from home. So I asked the nursing staff to please have the doctor order her two asthma medications. This was never done and I ended up having to sneak her medications in because a severe asthmatic cannot be without a rescue inhaler. She is also gluten intolerant and was served a plate of ground meat for dinner one night because they were serving sloppy joes and she could not eat the sauce or the bun. So they legit gave her a plate of ground meat for dinner...with no sides. This was addressed with the administrator and the Director of Nursing and I still ended up pulling her from this facility early, using my own PTO to take care of her at home because I refused to leave her in this place any longer
HORRIBLE PLACE
reviewed on: 02/20/2020 by Angry ClientHORRIBLE PLACE! My mother broke her hip and was sent there for rehab. The RNs were never on the floor and the LPNs were constantly passing meds so the aides ran the place. They spent most of their time in the dining room on their cell phones TOTALLY IGNORING CALL BELLS. As an RN myself I helped some of the people!! THE AVERAGE WAIT TIME TO GET HELP WAS 45 minutes. Place had broken furniture, was dirty, terrible staff, and VERY VERY POOR CARE? We removed my mother after I insisted she have an X-ray that showed she got pneumonia there. She also had a huge fungal infection from the aides placing padding under her plastic hip brace and the padding was soaked with urine. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS DO NOT! I REPEAT NEVER SEND THEM THERE!
