Community Reviews
Very clean place!
reviewed on: 12/15/2016 by AnonymousI would recommend this community because the place is very nice and clean, it looks like a hotel rather than a nursing home. My loved one is doing well since his move here. The staff is nice, but they seem to change a lot. My loved one likes to get used to people and learn their names. The food is up and down but in good portions. The apartment he is in is comfortable and clean. So far, it's been a good move.
very nice place
reviewed on: 08/14/2015 by AnonymousCanoe Brook Assisted Living and Alzheimers is a very nice facility. They made it very easy and made my father feel very welcome. The room was all clean and ready for him to move in and the staff was all very helpful
A decent community
reviewed on: 05/22/2020 by AnonymousThe community was always clean. The staff could have been more aware in terms of how often they check on the resident. Other that the care was good. The administrative staff was a bit disorganized. The activities were good but there was definitely room for improvement.
Tulsa Assisted Living
reviewed on: 10/01/2016 by SherriMy mom really likes it there. She is more active and eats healthier. Since moving in since August, her heart meds have been halved. The nurses keep in contact, the support staff is incredible, and my mom loves the food. You can tell the staff cares about their senior citizens. I have been bringing high school students their for 2 years and the staff turnover is low.
Good Experience
reviewed on: 09/09/2021 by KarenIt was a good experience. Our experience was during the pandemic. The staff were very friendly and the food seemed to be good. The activities were good as well. We were no longer allowed into the community due to the pandemic. The community didn't clean my loved one's room once a week, like they had promised. The laundry wasn't being done. The community didn't want to acknowledge that my loved one was at the end of their life. It took a couple of days to get the director to acknowledge that my loved one needed some medication for comfort during their transition. The community even fought hospice over this request.
