Felt like a nursing home..
reviewed on: 05/02/2017 by AnonymousThe tour guide at Heritage woods was very nice and helpful. When I toured, the room that my mother would have been in would have been downstairs and seemed like a hospital/nursing home more than an assisted living. There was nothing wrong with the place, but it was not what I was looking for.
Good people good place!
reviewed on: 01/06/2017 by AnonymousThis place was really good with my dad I felt. They just were unable to give him the care that he needed. They did good with getting him transitioned. He was enjoying the meals and getting to know some of the residents.
Wonderful place for my mother.
reviewed on: 10/15/2019 by Walt CollinsThe staff is very helpful and friendly. We're very pleased with Heritage Woods and the food is extremely good. My mother is in a bright and airy apartment right now. She can go down and have three meals a day or stay in her apartment and eat. She can call the front desk if she needs anything.
Dreams Lost
reviewed on: 08/28/2020 by AnonymousIt looks better on the outside than in the inside. There is a lot of show and not a lot of meat. The policies and the management on the inside has a lot to be desired. More was promised than before. Safety was a problem there, I had an accident and I had to wait for 911 to come before the staff or anyone came to check on me. The 911 was about 20 minutes later after my fall.
Good future choice
reviewed on: 10/11/2013 by SisterWe loved it, but it was farther away for me from where I wanted to look. If he were able to go to more independent living I would look into this, I was really impressed with it. It was very upscale, a lot of things to do there and with independent living I think he could have gotten out a little more and the kind of people there were not as debilitated.
