Wonderful place for my mother.
reviewed on: 10/15/2019 by Walt CollinsThe staff is very helpful and friendly. We're very pleased with Heritage Woods and the food is extremely good. My mother is in a bright and airy apartment right now. She can go down and have three meals a day or stay in her apartment and eat. She can call the front desk if she needs anything.
Good future choice
reviewed on: 10/11/2013 by SisterWe loved it, but it was farther away for me from where I wanted to look. If he were able to go to more independent living I would look into this, I was really impressed with it. It was very upscale, a lot of things to do there and with independent living I think he could have gotten out a little more and the kind of people there were not as debilitated.
Independent living + a few home health services < AL costs
reviewed on: 12/18/2016 by tdavismphI have been thoroughly happy with Heritage Woods for my mom. The meals are excellent and the staff have helped us with anything she needs. My mom is in an independent living apartment, but they have home health people who come in to help her bathe twice a week at a very affordable rate. So much more affordable than AL, and AL services are there when she needs them! She enjoys the activities and had only one day of that she felt lonely in a month. Lots of music events in the building with some talented folks leading them. Excellent facility!
What you need to know about Heritage Woods
reviewed on: 01/28/2020 by Pamela DeeseI am writing this review to let everyone know just what to expect from this facility. I have two parents in this facility for the last two years. We started off in independent living and as their health declined we moved to assisted living. I have had to move my father to memory care now but mother still remains at heritage woods. I know the entire staff at this facility, 1st through 3rd shifts through our two-year journey. There is no way anyone could expect better care than what this facility provides PERIOD! I can honestly say I have absolutely zero complaints about anything at heritage woods. My mother is difficult with Alzheimer’s but the staff has embraced her and they know and understand her and she has many difficult days. They treat her with the upmost care and respect even through days when she is less than nice to them. Her apartment is always very clean and so is my mother. They help her pick out her clothes for the day and dress her and she always looks nice and fresh. Anytime there is a concern about her health they call the doctor in without hesitation. Christian Fields is the assisted-living administrator. What an angel she is and a godsend to my family. I recently had to put my father in memory care at a different facility. I have to say he is not clean he is not shaved which I never experienced one day at Heritage Woods. So If anyone reading this review has further questions for me, my name is Pamela Deese and the facility knows how to get in touch with me and they have my permission to give you my contact information. Quite frankly it upsets me to read anything negative about the heritage woods. These people have been through hell with me and they’re just totally awesome!

The staff where on time to our appointment and made sure to answer any questions we had for them. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone it was just not the place for my mom.
