Great care for Mom
reviewed on: 05/01/2017 by AnonymousMy mother-in-law received excellent care at St. Ann's Community. She suffered from dementia and spent her final years on the Special Care Unit at St. Ann's. We were happy to see that she was loved and looked after by the staff. Could not have asked for better care!
Great Care & Beautiful Accommodations
reviewed on: 05/11/2018 by AnonymousMy Mother was in rehab twice with St. Ann's after major surgery. To finally have some peace and quiet and a private room and private bathroom, was a welcome relief after being in the hospital. The accommodations were beautiful and our family often had dinner together in their Bistro. She could even have her hair done in the beauty shop and the rehab/medical she received was excellent. She got well again and was able to go home and back to living an independent life. I would recommend.
Tour of St Ann's
reviewed on: 08/06/2021 by anonymousThey said that it was homey but they still had a nurse pushing a medical cart, announcements, set meal schedules, etc. They also did not have an outside area. It was just not as homey as we would have liked.
Be careful.....
reviewed on: 04/08/2019 by AnonymousMy 90 year old mother was recently in St Ann's Rehab after a hospitalization. Unfortunately, Mom has moderate dementia and memory loss. As such, family members are very involved in her care and visited multiple times each day. During these visits we were disappointed in the communication (never a introductory meeting, not told we were responsible for laundry, only heard medical results/status when we asked). Also disappointing was the hands on CNA care providers who were often abrupt and seemed angry. I will say that the higher level providers (PT/OT/Speech/MD) seemed good but even the floor RN seldom had time and couldn't always answer simple questions because either the computers were down (multiple times) or 'it happened on a previous shift'!!
Needs Performance Improvement
reviewed on: 02/27/2017 by SecSpecMy parents are in the St Ann's Cherry Ridge facility in Webster. We are extremely disappointed with the short staffing, staffing turnover, and consequent poor response times to attendant calls. Aides seem to leave for full time positions where they can receive benefits and, presumably, better pay. Turnover also appears to apply to kitchen and wait staff. Food quality is moderate. The facility is well kept and attractive looking, but pricing appears to be high.
