The directors assistant was actually the person that walked us through the facility. She was very apologetic and friendly but shared that she was very new to the facility and was still learning where things were located. We did ask a few questions that she tried her best to answer. The facility was very nice and there were many residents out and about and were very social with us.
Woodcrest is a very nice place.

She has a new roommate. It is extremely clean. There are a lot of activities and twice a month out side activities. Bingo, workout class, movies, puzzles, they do activities based around the holidays. She likes the majority of the food and they are accommodating and will make a grilled cheese if she doesn't like the menu options. Woodcrest is a very nice place for someone who needs a little bit of help.

We worked through some kinks with meds, hearing aid service, roommates, and difficult residents, but overall I am very happy with Woodcrest. They have addressed every issue with care and worked through resolution. Mom is very happy there and has made friends. They are also affordable, as far as assisted living goes. Mom has been in two previous facilities, which were a bad experience.
