Close to downtown

reviewed on: 11/16/2017 by Anonymous

I toured here when trying to find a place for my mother and the main thing it has going for it is that you can walk downtown anytime you want. But it’s more expensive, it’s a little bit closed off, and you have to buy into it. You have to pay a large amount of money and then rent on top of that and you only get 1 meal a day. It feels more like a motel; it has a nice courtyard, not just like you’re in a parking lot, but the rooms are off of the courtyard so sometimes they’re a little bit dark. There’s an extensive waiting list as well and the rooms just aren’t as nice or light. It’s an older place. There are some newer rooms but the waiting list is really long for those.
