Kudos for Haciendas at Grace Village
reviewed on: 09/14/2016 by Happy FamilyWe cannot say enough good things about the Haciendas assisted living facility. Our dad was only able to stay for a month, due to ill health. While he was in the assisted living facility, every person there, including the nurses, aides and administrators, was kind, helpful, encouraging and caring. The cooks prepare very nice, nutritious meals and accommodate any dietary needs and preferences. The staff also threw a birthday party for my dad's friends and family to attend, complete with decorations and his favorite dessert! As our dad approached the end of his life, the staff helped us to arrange hospice care. Hospice nurses added to the continuing great care that Dad received until his end. The facility is very nicely appointed, with 12 private rooms, a comfortable dining space, with tables for 4, a pleasant living space/public space, a television, and a lovely patio. Every visitor my dad received also complimented the accommodations. All of the residents that we met seemed very comfortable and well-cared for. We highly recommend the assisted living facility at Haciendas at Grace Village. They made our entire family feel at home and as comfortable as we could in the circumstances.

Despite attending seminars, finding caregivers and reorganizing my life, I was not prepared to handle him in his worsened condition. I visited 6 facilities in the span of a week. As soon as I observed the staff, residents and facilities, I knew I had found a new home for my husband. I continue to be impressed with the care he receives. The staff cares about for each resident, treating each one as an individual. The facility is modern, spotless and safe. Each resident has his/her own room and bathroom, which is what dementia sufferers need. Even the food is great! While Haciendas may be a bit more expensive than other facilities, it is well worth it. My husband gets fabulous care. And I have peace of mind.

reviewed on: 12/21/2020 by anonymousWe chose this facility because we got a good first impression on our tour, it was also very clean. The location was important to us as well so that way we could visit often. Their approach was a little different than others we looked into and it seemed like a good idea at the time. They have 4 separate buildings ;laid out identically that were based off of the level of care that the resident needed. Her level of functioning was higher than most of the others in her building but she was limited. I do think she would have benefited from different day to day socialization, but the staff was good about treating everyone the same. They were very good about activities here and overall I would recommend to others looking.
A caring place for your loved one

Although it is a two hour drive for me each way, I was thrilled to find such a caring and competent place for my husband. Local facilities were very disappointing or did not take people with dementia/Alzheimers. The staff is wonderful; I feel like part of the family whenever I visit or talk to them on the phone. The facilities are top notch. It is a relief for me to know that my husband is safe, well-cared for and content.
