Our experience with The Bristal has only been a brief one, but so far everything has been satisfactory.

All is Well

Everything is working out great for my mother at this community. They are caring for her and her needs very well. I'am pleased with her move to this community. It is a nice place with friendly people.

General overview of our 1.5 years at the Bristal

reviewed on: 08/31/2020 by Anonymous

We chose this facility because 10% of their beds are medicaid, so primarily it was for the cost. My mom was at another facility for 3 years, but she wanted a change of scenery. The room sizes are fine, it fits quite a bit of furniture. The bathrooms are a large size. We have had a couple meals with her, it is more institutional like, but generally speaking it is good. I would recommend this community. She has been in memory care for almost a year, and reasonably speaking I am satisfied with the accommodations and services that she is given here.

First review of Reflections at The Bristal

reviewed on: 03/16/2014 by Carolerea

My mother has been in the facility for just over one week - and the Reflections unit has been open only for a few weeks. So far, everything has been really great, from the food, to the care-givers, to the room, and overall ambience. I am very happy.

Wonderful Place

reviewed on: 12/11/2013 by Jody S.

The Bristal is a beautiful place that my mom now calls home. It has modern décor and lovely rooms with lots of windows in which to do activities. The apartment in which she lives is spacious with lots of natural light and very safe. She keeps snacks in her room but eats in the dining room with others. From my mom's feedback, the food is good. They even check to make sure she gets to breakfast by knocking on her door in the mornings. The staff seems patient and excited to be there. They know where my mom is at all times and they take great care of her. The place just opened and they have less than half the residents living there. More come daily. Once The Bristal is completely full, it will be interesting to see how the staff handles things. Since it is new, there was an initial issue with the cable connections. The director of maintenance was right on top of things. He stopped in the hall to talk to my mom and I about the problem and was so warm and friendly. He apologized for the cable issue (although it was really temporary) and had the issue resolved when he said it would be. By the way, this was on a Sunday.
