Review of Spring Hills of Somerset
reviewed on: 03/09/2016 by KarenI chose Spring Hills of Somerset because their community is bright and inviting. Their Great Room is very cheerful and their Meals menu is larger than most others and changes weekly. Courtney, the Community Relations Counselor, is so wonderful and helpful. I know my mom will be happy there.
Great place
reviewed on: 03/24/2018 by AnonymousMy husband and I have been very happy with the care and social interaction Spring Hills has offered my brother. The staff goes above and beyond to be sure our brother’s needs are met. The meals are nicely balanced and delicious. I’m happy my brother has found a safe and stimulating place to reside. Thank you.
A Special Place
reviewed on: 11/25/2020 by AnonymousMy 90 year old Mother entered Spring Hills when she could no longer live alone. She helped choose Spring Hills over other choices because it felt more like home. We made our decision based on first impressions like cleanliness, dining choices, facilities and the well kept grounds. Little did we know that the real advantage of Spring Hills is the people. Everyone is friendly and caring, and treat the residents like family. Even people like receptionists and office workers know them by name and try to accommodate any needs they may have. We got to see everyone in action when Covid hit. They took every measure possible to keep residents safe, while remembering that a connection to family is so important to them. They offered Facetime calls so we could keep in touch, and safe distance visits when that became possible. Daily conference calls kept everyone informed and allayed our fears. While all the staff deserves recognition, a special pat on the back goes to Keila, the resident concierge. She's the point person for families and residents to contact, so there's no bureaucracy to deal with. She's the kindest most caring person, and really makes a connection with the residents. She's the perfect person for the job. So if you're considering Spring Hills for your family member, take a look at the facilities, but make sure to interact with the people to get a true sense of what makes this place special.
Overall well kept, well managed, and good personnel
reviewed on: 10/28/2021 by anonymousEverything seems to be going really good so far with the meals and dining service, and our loved one is kept busy with activities. It is expensive, but compared to others in the area it is no higher or no less. Also the location is key, it is right next to everything our loved one would need.
