Community Reviews
Really Clean and Friendly
reviewed on: 09/28/2015 by AnonymousBozeman Lodge, is a friendly and nicely located community in Bozeman which mattered for me and ultimately helped me decided to go with this community. It is a recently new facility which is well kept and is also a plus for me because I do not have to replace or repair things. The community is really clean and friendly.
Review of Bozeman Lodge
reviewed on: 09/25/2020 by Kathy WolfeI like the friendships and people. I like being able to participate in things my favorite is the art classes, painting, and drawing. I really love my cottage. I love being able to come over for my meals and eat with friends. I like not having the responsibility of maintaining and cleaning my home. Everyone here is so friendly. The staff is exceptional.
VERY Happy at Bozeman Lodge
reviewed on: 11/05/2019 by Happy DaughterMy mom and stepdad moved into Bozeman Lodge about 8 months ago from an assisted living facility in Florida. The facility in Florida was MUCH more expensive than here, but was not half as good as Bozeman Lodge. I am so happy they are here, and they are too! They have commented so many times how friendly and helpful in general all the staff is. They have already had 6-8 emergency staff calls in this time, and the response was almost immediate. They were so pleased. Also, they have called me every time to update what happened, what they did, what they felt was needed as followup. My parents are basically in independent living, without any extra care at this time. Yet I know they are being watched over. When I couldn't reach them one time, I called the general number and the staff person said, "oh, they are in the dining room right now. I saw them." So they were watching. My mom has early to mid-Alzheimer's and a few months after they were there, I was contacted by a staff member saying various staff had noticed "...." when my mother was alone, and had some (valid but not major) concerns about something. I was so impressed with the fact that they were alert to her and what she was doing. I felt everything they brought up was with dignity and respect. They don't (by choice, mainly because my mother is quite withdraw) participate in many of the activities so I can't comment on that. But I've actually seen some of the musicians they've had in, and they were great. Also, I've eaten with them many times, and I think the food is GREAT! I know that is subjective, tho, but my mother has said many, many times how much she likes the food, and she does eat it all up! And so do I! Regarding value, before they moved into Assisted Living in Florida, my sister and I visited almost 15 places looking for the best place possible and I had a set of about 25 questions that I asked every place. We chose what we felt was the best place, and it happened to be the most expensive place, too. The Lodge is about 60% of what we paid in Florida, but the care and the friendliness there was about 30% of what they are getting at the Lodge. Therefore, we feel the value is MUCH better for the Lodge. A lot less money for a lot more happiness for them. I see there are some negative comments, but I can only comment on my personal experience. Nurse Kathy has been phenomenal with them. The staff knows their names and whenever I walk through (and my parents have said the same), staff smiles and the residents smile and are friendly as well. Also, in regard to cost, one of my 25 questions to the facilities in Florida involved price changes every year, and 100% of them said there is a small price rise every year, to expect that. They said that happens with every facility. So I wanted to say that I find this facility to be just what we hoped for and am very, very happy they are there. I feel like they are cared for and people sincerely care about them.

Nice Dining and Apartments
reviewed on: 08/08/2013 by EllaIt's fantasitic. We looked at a couple of places and found Bozeman Lodge to be the best. I like the apartment, the staff, the facility itself and the way they set up their dining. People can eat anytime from 7am to 7pm and they have a variety of entrees. The thing that I really noticed was the personal empowerment which is really important. I think because it was designed to be a retirement community and then they had both retirement and assisted, it looks more like apartment living that assisted living. They're really wonderful. The value was the best of all of them. It looks like a person's nice home. There is a lot of life to it. I highly recommend it. My aunt had an easy transition because of all the fine quality there.
