Excellent Memory Care !!
reviewed on: 10/03/2016 by AnonymousThe staff has been very patient with my loved one and has helped her adjust wonderfully with the move into the memory care unit. They make sure her doctor appointments are organized and that she has transportation. The nurses have been excellent with open communication and keeping in contact with the family. I would highly recommend this community to anyone in need of a memory care facility.

reviewed on: 03/22/2016 by AnonymousI can't say enough good things about Altenheim! Our experience was only a brief one, but I would give them a 10 out of 5 if I could! From the moment we walked in the door I could tell this was the place my loved one needed to be. It was clean, it smelled nice, and it just really didn't have that "nursing home" feel at all. The staff does an absolutely wonderful job looking after the residents, they're attentive, caring, and very friendly. They even do a great job with the food, and they were always happy to make my loved one something different if nothing on the menu that night caught his eye. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking into care in the area!

She seems to be happy with the variety of meals. They have activities that she enjoys. We would recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

It is very well organized and clean. Activities are offered for the residents the staff is very encouraging. It feels like home.
