Community Reviews
Very loving and attentive care
reviewed on: 02/17/2017 by AnonymousMy mother moved here recently and things were going well until two weeks ago.My mother fractured her shoulder and was severely dehydrated. The staff at Bavaria has been so good with her while she is rehabilitating. I'm in love with a few members of the staff. They are so sweet and talk to my mother like she can understand. When she calls for them they are always prompt and helpful. The place is wonderful and is a very nice environment. I would recommend this community and already have.
It was Nice
reviewed on: 07/18/2017 by AnonymousThis property was completely different than where my dad is now. It is a much larger place. It appeared to be staffed enough for a number of residents there and they seemed friendly and helpful. The only issues that we came across are that they had no current openings and if they did they didn't accept patients on Medicaid for the memory care wing.
Review of Altenheim St. Louis
reviewed on: 11/14/2019 by AnonymousWonderful care! Like a family. Very personal care. Facility always clean and beautiful. When problems arise. staff listens and makes adjustments. Only need is slight improvement to staff communication on transfer of care from person-to-person or shift changes.
The community faces the Mississippi.
reviewed on: 01/23/2017 by AnonymousThe staff are very nice and complimentary. They check on mom who currently lives in assisted living. They monitor her medications. The food is very good and they have nice meals. Her room is comfortable. They offer activities constantly and the community is clean. They accept medicaid after two years of self pay. This community is a little pricey and I would recommend it.
