Wondweful
reviewed on: 03/11/2021 by Irvin CockrielWe are happy and have met so many friends. New friends and ones that we knew before we moved into Lenoir. We love the food and are learning about new activities every day. We are anxious to have COVID behind us so we can invite friends to visit us and eat with us.
Great place to live
reviewed on: 06/13/2019 by Jean SmithLike the option of living in a house rather than villa or apartment. Staff and other residents make it a wonderful place to live. Food is good with a good choice of venues. Activities staff does a super job.
My thoughts after 5 weeks at Lenoir Woods
reviewed on: 06/08/2019 by Mike Van HoveThe marketing person, Kathy Prince, was a very patient and low key advisor. On signing up for the house, they take 90 days to completely refurbish the entire home. And I mean completely. The contractor, David Cumming is a jewel to work with. He's extremely patient, and his word is his bond. Everything we agreed upon was done, and done right. I truly enjoyed the entire process. As for Lenoir Woods, it's a very warm and friendly place. Everyone waves, and will stop and chat with you, if you want to. Food service is very good, portions are plenty big. Lots of activities and there is something going on, nearly every day. Kent, the over all Head Honcho, is as friendly as they come. The other day, I was sitting in the Grill, by myself, and he came in, saw me there and asked if he could join me. We had a great time, and you would think we had known each other for years. That's pretty much the way everyone here interacts. It's great. I don't want to grow old, but since I have no choice, this is the place to do it. 😀
Very Nice Community!
reviewed on: 11/07/2016 by AnonymousThe Lenior Woods was a beautiful community. The staff was very friendly, smiling and informative. The overall atmosphere was positive and the place was kept clean. The waiting list, however, was too long and the price was a bit high for our budget.
Moving to Lenoir Woods
reviewed on: 09/28/2019 by CharlieWe came to Lenoir in July 1918. We probably should have come here a year earlier. We have a good clean place to live, a chance to interact daily with good folks, good food, good entertainment and overall a good, fun filled life. We don't have property taxes, maintenance and upkeep costs. home owners insurance and utility bills. This is not a nursing home, but if our condition requires one it is available to us. We can be as social as we want to be, cook our food if we want to and use furnished transportation if we wish, We are independent and protected. A great place for us to be.
