Community Reviews
I would recommend
reviewed on: 10/06/2021 by ScarletWe chose Benton House of Blue Springs because of the friendliness of the staff members, the facility itself is beautiful, and her room looks out into a courtyard. Her bathroom is very open so if she ever needs a wheelchair there will be plenty of space for that. Staff here are very caring and attentive. I do think that they be more encouraging to residents to participate in activities and they could provide a better variety of things to do. Their shuttle service is $50 even for in town appointments and I think that is a little steep, we figured that would be included in the rent. Overall, I would recommend to others looking.

A great facility
reviewed on: 10/12/2021 by DamonWe chose Benton House of Blue Springs because Pam who had talked to us was very personable and was not too pushy. They were also having a spacial, but even at regular price we still would have chosen them due to the friendliness of all of the staff, it is just a great place. The rooms are great size for what my mom needs. Anytime the nurse practitioners or doctors sees mom and something comes up, they call right away and let me know what is going on. I would recommend to others looking.
Too "assisted"
reviewed on: 11/29/2017 by AnonymousWhile looking at a few locations for my mother I toured this property and it was lovely. However, it just didn’t seem like a good fit. The facility was smaller than we would have liked and my mother felt like it felt too “assisted”. She felt like they provided more services than what she needed. Other than that, from what we have seen while we were touring the facility is beautiful.
A Good Move
reviewed on: 05/26/2016 by AnonymousThe staff at this community are very nice, attentive, and very positive with her basic needs like cleaning and laundry. My mom has told me the food is pretty good. From what I have seen, the community is up-kept, clean and free from debris. My mom has made a few new friends but she already knew a few resident and she is offered activities to do. that a plus. This was an easy, good experience and I would recommend this community.
