Upfront And Honest People
reviewed on: 03/06/2017 by AnonymousWhen I spoke with them and what they described to me about the community it felt like it was more institutional based like a hospital. Their residents were farther into Dementia and not many of them were able to interact. I felt that it was not worth looking into. I appreciate and it is nice that they were upfront and did not hide anything.
There were definitely things I liked about this community.

I liked their attitude towards response time, saying that a call button should be answered in 3-5 minutes. I liked that their kitchen was open from 7 a.m., until 10 p.m. so they could go down when they were hungry to eat. This was significantly more expensive, and further away than others we were looking at.

reviewed on: 05/22/2020 by AnonymousThe staff at New Perspective were absolutely wonderful. The nursing staff were so fantastic. They were all helpful and friendly. We chose this community because they were able to offer a twelve month spend down and able to get my loved in quickly as he was be discharged from a rehab stay. We liked the care services that they offered and the staff seemed to really care about the residents. There was also longevity with the care staff and we liked that. However, the kitchen was going though turnover at the time, and my loved one wasn't crazy about the food.
An excellent retirement center.

The location of the facility and the parking is fine. I would recommend the Keystone Communities of Highland Park to anyone looking for an excellent retirement center. Everything has been going well. I am very pleased with everything. My overall rating of this facility is five stars.

reviewed on: 08/20/2013 by AnonymousThe community is very nice and is kept very clean. They offer quite a few things for the residents. They have lots of activities and plenty of things for the residents to do. The community is expensive but if you can afford it I would highly recommend it.
