Living Joy Memory Care - I highly recommend it!
reviewed on: 01/04/2015 by AnonymousMy Mother lived at Living Joy for nearly 4 years. I had seen other Alzheimer's facilities that I found wanting but Living Joy was wonderful. The facility - actually it was more like a home - was always clean. The food was good tasting and the kitchen was right off the dining room so it was always hot and served on individual plates right from the kitchen. Activities and exercises occurred daily and I was updated with a phone call immediately on any changes with her - even though I was there on a regular basis. I felt confident that my Mother received very good care and that the staff treated her with respect and love.

Great place overall
reviewed on: 03/18/2020 by AnonMy Uncle is at Living Joy. I am not 100% pleased with the services mostly the 2 staff on shift and not many food options. Besides that I feel this is a great place to place a loved one. The care team is very honest and experienced from what I have seen over the years. They become apart of the family in a way. No place is perfect but this place should not be bashed the way it is. This place is great with care. Could use tweaking but who cant! They get 3.5/5 stars from me!
A Blessing
reviewed on: 01/08/2019 by AnonymousLiving Joy is a blessing to our family. My mom is well taken care of and very happy. Mom does activities and the staff make sure to place them in mom's room, I love seeing the artwork! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The building is very clean and organized. The best thing about Living Joy is they are faith based and have a spiritual care team as well as an income based program so that I never have to worry when mom runs out of money.
It's a NO from me
reviewed on: 04/16/2019 by AnonymousI advise AGAINST this facility!!! They have brown stains on the towels they have your loved ones drying their hands and washing their face with. They're too cheap to buy bleach to properly clean anything. If a resident has an accident they throw the clothes away and tell you they must be in another closet when you ask about them. The woman who runs the building (Stacey) is absolutely awful as well. If you go to her with a question or concern she dismisses it because it "doesn't affect her. " I thought the people in these places were kind, caring people and she is definitely not.
