Community Reviews
Family owned and operated TRULY CARING Community!
reviewed on: 11/24/2020 by Jean GillHillside is a wonderful Senior Living on the westside of Ann Arbor. It has been a staple in the community for more than 50 years! Now that says resilience and dedication to seniors and the community! It has been a family owned and ran senior living for the past 20 years and the owners are present on site. This place is not 1 of the big box corporate ran Senior Livings which makes their care and services delivered that more accountable to their staff, management and ultimately their family owners! Not too often can you find a family owned and operated Senior Living "Mom and Pop" home so if you can get on their move-in list, I promise you you will be grateful!
Best personalized care around!!
reviewed on: 01/20/2021 by Jeanie GHillside Terrace is by far the best independent living, assisted living, and memory care in all of Washtenaw County. The staff is kind, building is spotless, and the leadership gets it. If you have not taken the time to research, visit, and talk with their team if your loved one is in need of a care, you are missing out. Highly recommend.
Tour of Hillside Retirement
reviewed on: 08/10/2021 by anonymousWe toured Hillside Terrace and it is a big beautiful facility. My mom was looking for something smaller and I did not see many residents out of their rooms doing activities during our tour.
Did not like the layout
reviewed on: 01/29/2014 by R MWe toured this location when we were looking into options for my loved one. It seemed very dark, and was depressing. It was a maze of hallways on the upper floor of a building, so there would be no easy access to outside areas. I did not think it would a good match for my loved one.
What a wonderful community
reviewed on: 01/07/2020 by Don WilbargerWhat a wonderful community. The staff and residents are so warm and friendly. They make difficult conversations easy and you can feel the genuine affection they have for wanting to care for your loved one. I got to sit in on a bingo game with the residents and could not stop giggling. The young lady calling the numbers made it engaging and the residents played right along. Everyone one was having a good time. They even have beautiful birds on display and residents have pets to warm your heart. It gives me comfort knowing this is a safe, happy and engaging community
