Community Reviews
Not The Right For Us, But My Tour Went Well
reviewed on: 08/03/2017 by AnonymousI had a nice tour of this facility. Everyone was kind, and friendly. From what I saw the community looked nice, and clean. The staff I met was polite, and they answered my questions. It was a good experience, but I did feel this was the community for my father, and his needs.
Great community, and great daycare service
reviewed on: 03/27/2014 by C BWe use Blaire House for daycare, and they really do a phenomenal job! After he gets back they've kept him so busy that he's able to sleep very well that night, which has been an issue he's been having. The staff really go above and beyond to be accommodating and make sure he is happy and comfortable. We also really like that the community has a good population of men for him to socialize with.
Nice looking place!
reviewed on: 05/27/2015 by AnonymousI toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. I looked at quite a few communities in the area and this one stood out to me as being very nice! The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them as being worth a look!
Cozy and Inviting
reviewed on: 02/18/2020 by Paula R.Although we've decided to place mom closer to our home, I found Blair House to be cozy and inviting. I was warmly greeted by Terri Sullivan and the surrounding staff and, the memory care rooms I saw were very pleasant. It's great that they also have a nursing home side so residents can be easily transferred if needed. There was a male resident sitting in a lounge area when I arrived. He must have read my mind because, when our eyes met, he said, "It's good here. It's really good."
Blaire House Of Tewksbury Assisted Living
reviewed on: 06/03/2020 by AnonymousEverything is always in good shape and things are usually pretty clean. The only thing here is that the entrances and some of the community spaces at are locked so there is no easy access to restrooms, which can make life difficult if you are with someone with dementia, for example. One or two of the staff seem to be really into taking care of all the residents, we love dealing with them. The other staff seem to be a little non-existent and hard to interact with. My wife enjoys it here and the fact that they have nurses on staff is great. They did take good care of her throughout the day. With regard to the Covid-19 pandemic, a major concern of mine is that the nursing center had multiple cases of the virus. There has been a lack of communication with us regarding what they are doing to mitigate the spread. We also cannot get information regarding the state audit regarding virus preparedness and they will not tell us about any corrective action taking place.
