Fortunate to findreviewed on: 03/01/2021 by Michael H
Hattie Ide Chaffee Home is all one level and it is a smaller community, about 100 residents. I have only been in the dining area of the facility and it is very clean, I was unable to access other parts of facility due to covid. Based on contact with staff and the doctor, the quality of care is good and they keep me informed. I have never eaten at this facility, but my mom does say that she enjoys it and she is eating much better. From what I know so far, I would recommend them to others who are looking, I think my mom is in a good place.
Our experience with Holy Cross Villagereviewed on: 03/12/2021 by anonymous
We were sometimes not happy with their Covid protocol. They did not require quarantining of residents re-entering the community. Sometimes they would follow protocol and other times would not. They did have some Covid breakouts, and they reassigned resident rooms accordingly to separate healthy residents from the ones who were sick. We found the one bredroom rooms are really small. Also the increases for different levels of care were astronomical. We were really impressed with the social worker that was there. But our move out experience was not smooth.

I was told that there would be someone that understands the VA benefits and there was not. The staff is friendly and nice and I would recommend this community to others based on my experience
Would recommend, just be honest if it is not a good fitreviewed on: 08/30/2021 by anonymous
I would tell others to make sure that the caregivers are actually doing what they are supposed to do on their evaluation sheet that they turn into the supervisors. I would recommend to others looking.
Would Absolutely Recommend Themreviewed on: 05/17/2021 by anonymous
They are highly flexible. We appreciate that they accept VA benefits. And they're pretty conscientious. When they hire, there's a pretty thorough screening process. The owners are amazing. We've had just one caregiver the whole time. My loved one feels really comfortable with her. We've had some last-minute schedule changes, and she's been there for about 99% of them to help us out. She's pretty friendly and stays on top of things. My loved one doesn't need a high level care, but she's there to help with some of the things he does need.
