Community Reviews
A very caring and cheerful home
reviewed on: 08/03/2020 by Marianne GrubbMy husband moved to Generations after being kicked out of another facility for his behavior. Generation welcomed him with open arms, even when I told them about it. Alzheimer’s patients often have bad behavior, but I was told that the staff was well trained and they were sure he would be well cared for. They were absolutely right. He is so content there. I’m told, every time I call that he has no behavioral issues and that he is sweet and polite. I’ve seen it myself. He looks so much better and his mobility is much better too. I’m So happy he’s there. The main room is bright and cheerful, which helps a lot. Everyone seems so well cared for and at peace, that it gives me peace.
Our experience at Generations has been above and beyond what we expected.
reviewed on: 04/26/2021 by anonymousThe staff have been very supportive. They were very flexible for us, considering the timing of our loved one's entry into the facility with Covid. They very much helped my wife and I out with the transition from his hospital stay to the facility. Obviously under the restrictions and everything they were dealing with, they handled that very well, and communicated very well with phone calls and emails to keep the family in the loop and supported. As far as anything negative, there' s not much to say. There was just a little bit of a communication break-down with the in-house doctor and what was going on with our loved one's check-ups. But the nurses and the administration were very good at getting back to us with any questions we had. We've had a good experience, and we've been very pleased. Our loved one has accepted the change very well, which we were not at all expecting from him. And that's a big kudos to the staff. He very much likes the food. They're offering different types of games and arts and crafts, although I don't know the extent not being able to go inside to visit. I feel like the value is pretty good based on other places we looked at.
