Staff is nice but they are short handed
reviewed on: 12/27/2017 by AnonymousEveryone at this facility has been wonderful to my brother. They are really nice and the CNA’s have been great. It is a new facility and looks fairly nice. They do have a lot of activities including trips to go out, bingo, and crafts. I have overheard other male residents say they need more activities for the men. However, I do have a few complaints. They are understaffed and recently they’ve been running out of food. The more time that goes on, it seems to be slowly getting worse. I would recommend this community to other families.

reviewed on: 07/03/2017 by AnonymousThere was nothing wrong when my husband had the tour. Everything was suitable accept he preferred another community over them. He felt the staff treated their role as just workers and not as a profession.
Still The Beginning
reviewed on: 10/05/2016 by AnonymousThey have been improving the meals here. The presentation of meals are not good. The veggies have been overcooked and the bacon is often burned. The residents have good humor and it is improving. I can communicate with the staff easily and they accommodate my parents.
I have some concerns
reviewed on: 10/05/2015 by AnonymousI have some concerns with Diamond View Assisted Living and Memory Care. They moved my father-in-law into the newer building. It is a beautiful building but he is bored. The bedroom is way down the hall. He seemed happier in the other building. We are going call and voice our concerns. His bed hasn't been changed in a long time. I was a CNA and our job was to do a walk through and make sure everything was getting done. His toilet hasn't been flushed in a while. He hasn't taken a shower in a long time. We have been going to visit a lot and they have very young aids working. They are sitting on couch watching TV. I was taught that there is always busy work. It is a beautiful building and will go downhill quick if it's not taken care of. I brought dad creamer and I asked an aid to make coffee and it took forever for it to get to us. The pizza he had was like cardboard. He just had to eat the topping off. They also need to make water more available. The staff served two small cups of orange juice that he quickly downed. My relatives were visiting and the aid allowed my father-in-law to follow them out the door. I didn't think that was safe. I am hoping these issues can get resolved soon.
Outstanding Care for mom

The beautiful place to call home. The meals were outstanding. They did offer activities for my mom. We would highly recommend this to every family for excellent care for a loved one.
