Community Reviews
Dad has improved greatly since moving into this community!!
reviewed on: 03/20/2017 by AnonymousMy dad has made a lot of improvements since making the move into this community. He seems to really be interacting with all of the other residents as well as enjoying the activities they provide for them throughout the week. The food also has been great he eats three times a day the only thing he said could use some work is the breakfast. Overall I am pleased with everything they have been doing for my dad and would recommend it to anyone.
The best place in the Rome area!
reviewed on: 05/08/2017 by DeNeale ElrodThey faculty and staff at Winthrop Court were wonderful. From the application process to the move-in I was impressed with how helpful each person I encounter was during this time. The nurses, and med-techs were helpful when it came to meeting the needs of my mom. The dietitian was able to meet with my mother and discuss her dietary needs and restrictions. The place it's self was clean and very well kept. I would definitely recommend Winthrop Court to anyone seeking an assisted living type setting.
Best Senior Living Facility Hands Down!
reviewed on: 09/28/2018 by AnonymousThis facility really made me feel like I was leaving my father with his family. It feels like home for him and that is all I could have ever asked for. I highly recommend letting your family join this family. The bond that my father has made with the staff and other residents is something that I will be grateful for forever.
Loving care for my mother
reviewed on: 02/26/2021 by Josn TI was a little hesitant about my mother coming to your place mainly because I could not talk with staff and look at references before mother was put into Winthrop Memory Care. Each time I’ve visited my mother she has been well cared for by very good and competent staff. Even my mother loves it there! I love going on Facebook and seeing the activities and games they participate in each day. The food is homemade and delicious. I could not ask for better and more caring staff. I highly recommend your family to Winthrop.
It is a family!
reviewed on: 02/01/2021 by Carl FowlerConsidering the move into a senior living community is not to be taken lightly. You want more than just a place to live. You want a home. I am a senior adult and have been a part of the Winthrop community for 11 years. I might be a bit biased in my opinion but I also know something to be true. Winthrop Court is a place you can call home. It houses a group of residents and a top notch staff that are more than just people who live and work here. They are a family. That is what makes this community a home. This morning I tragically lost a very special young family member. I was devastated. It has only been a few hours but I have already been surrounded by love and understanding by not only my neighbors here but by the staff as well. That is what communities such as this should be. That is what is needed when changes in life occur. That is what lives here at Winthrop Court. That my friends is “The Winthrop Way!”
