My Mother's Respite is Going Very Well

They are taking very good care of her and her needs. The community looks nice and well maintained. Overall it has been a great experience. This is a wonderful community.

Be prepared to supplement your loved one with different food
reviewed on: 10/20/2020 by AnonymousWe chose Governors Glen because it was strictly a memory care facility and very close to my house, that way I could go visit often. She went from a very large room to a single room here, so it was on the smaller side. One big complaint we had was the food. It was not fresh and by the time it was served, it was cold. They served things like hot dogs and french fries and did not offer any condiments to go along with the meals. There were also not a lot of activities that I was aware of at all, and I would pick up the calendar weekly. From what I saw, this facility seemed clean and the staff members were nice, but they were not very interactive with the residents.
