Slow getting the ball rolling with my Dad's care, but better now
reviewed on: 10/05/2015 by AnonymousThey have got some new staffing there. There are a lot of changes. I just felt that they should have had a checklist of everything they should have asked my father to get things started within the first week or two. I feel like my Dad fell between the cracks because they did not do his laundry and the doctor did not come to see him for awhile. There should be a better way to make sure my Dad's needs were met. It took awhile, but things seem to be better now and once I talked to the director, he followed through and make sure my Dad's needs were met.
Great, but Larger
reviewed on: 12/16/2013 by Family MemberIt's great, but a larger facility, and we thought that she would get lost since she's legally blind. Other than that, we loved it, wonderful people and wonderful facility!
Friendly, helpful staff
reviewed on: 10/08/2015 by AnonymousWe're very pleased with our experience with Horizon Bay! They were very helpful during the touring process, and really helped the transition go smoothly. The staff here is friendly and helpful, and the facility is clean and well kept. They've got a lot to offer the people who live here!
Great fit for our family
reviewed on: 02/25/2021 by anonymousWe have had a great experience with Sonata Vero Beach so far. We chose this facility because of the convenient location to family as well as the facility itself was nicer than the others we looked into. All of the services provided medical wise were also better. They have doctors, pediatrist, etc that come in and he does not have to leave. He also wanted a place with a pool so this fit the bill. This facility also accepts medicare for down the road when he runs out of funds. He is getting great care here and we have been pleased. I would recommend them.
