A great place for a loved one!
reviewed on: 11/04/2020 by Anonymousour loved one moved in right before COVID, and from our understanding they had good activities before COVId. The staff greeted us right away they were very friendly, we would tell the residents were engaged. The pool, facility and dining room were pretty nice

reviewed on: 07/28/2021 by LJI really liked Elmcroft of Pinecrest. They were in my top two, and I had a hard time deciding. They have a nice walking area, and I really liked the nursing facility, the layout, and all the activities they had. But it felt like many of the other assisted living facilities in the area - they house several different care levels in a big, multi-floor facility with elevators. And I thought that might be more difficult for our loved one with dementia to navigate. We ended up choosing a smaller, homier community that was all on one floor and closer to where we live.

There is a lady that I know that goes and takes my mother on walks which she really enjoys! The only complaint I've heard them have is about the breakfast. They have a continental breakfast for the residents, and by the time my parents would make it out there, there would not be anything left. They don't have any fresh fruit. That is the only thing I wish they could improve on, but other than that, things are going well so far and my parents are definitely still adjusting to the change.
