Community Reviews
Upbeat and Attentive Staff
reviewed on: 11/27/2013 by Resident's FamilyThe care is great and they have excellent activities. I can't think of any ways they could improve. What we like most about Seabury is the staff. They're always very upbeat and attentive. I'm not there all the time so I don't know what all the activities are but I know they have singing and movies and things like that.
Too expensive for me
reviewed on: 02/28/2014 by CherylThis community was very nice but it was way too expensive. It was also too far away from me. The community was clean and the staff was friendly but it was not in my price range.
stay away
reviewed on: 09/04/2019 by Anonymousin the skilled nursing area my mother almost died. She went in with a broken arm for rehab They were going to release her with a 122 sodium reading which is almost dead. I took her to the ER instead. After a week in ICU and a step down she is getting better but it's touch and go She is now in a better rehab, Unless the patient is young and healthy don't go there. Their physical therapists are good None of the departments communicate They put my mom on a DNR even though we told them she wanted to be a full code. They argued with me for three days until they grudgingly changed it. After an ICU is is recovering in a different rehab. Don't go there
Beware
reviewed on: 06/28/2019 by AnonymousThe care at the facility is good. The aides work hard. Rehab depends on the person and some are good while others are not. However, the administration is close to the line of fraudulent. They are eager to take your $ which is $524 a day, charge interest if payment is a few days late and do not provide a proper accounting. If you are private pay, beware! Bottom line is that while the facility is good if you need care (although weekends are understaffed and many patients just sit in the hallway all day,) the underpaid aides are good, but for the $, and considering the issues with Administration, I would seek other options.
