Community Reviews
a good place for me and a loved one
reviewed on: 02/02/2021 by AnonymousI would choose this community for myself, the staff bends over backwards to help and is very friendly. The only issue we had was during the intake process. I would definitely recommend this community to others

Average Place
reviewed on: 03/22/2021 by anonymousIf your loved one needs more care, this is probably not the right place. My loved one ended up not being able to get out of bed, and they would bring food to the rooms, but she couldn't get to the food where they dropped it off. If you can, I would recommend asking lots of questions about what the staff can and cannot do as far as care goes. The housekeeping and dining staff were just okay, but the front desk staff were great.
A Loving and Caring Place
reviewed on: 03/12/2015 by David EricksonIn 2010, my Mother moved into the Independent Living Facility at Garden Plaza of Aurora. My Mother, brother and sister have been extremely pleased with the quality of the facility, the professionalism of the staff, excellent entertainment and activity options available and the quality of the food. It has been important to us that my Mother was able to quickly get involved and find wonderful people and activities. In late 2014, my Mother had to move into the Assisted Living Facility at Garden Plaza of Aurora. The staff made this transition smooth and uneventful for my Mother and the family. The quality of the assistance to my Mother has been outstanding. We have no worries about her getting quality care or being safe and we receive feedback as necessary from the staff. The staff cares about the people living there. I find it a pleasure to visit with the staff whenever I am in the facility visiting my Mother. She has been able to continue with the activities and entertainment she got use to and is able to take occasional shopping trips with the other residents. My family and I recommend you take a look at Garden Plaza of Aurora if you are looking for an Independent or Assisted Living Facility for yourself or a family member.
